Episode 22

Jesse starts by telling us about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. And I feel as if we have some deja vu talking about Megan Fox. We transition to our guest, Scott Monson, of Deep Blue Long Beach. Scott explains some is background and what makes him qualified. He suggest that diving has zen like qualities. I could see it. Scott then gives us some of his best experiences during his diving trips. As the conversation progresses we move into Jesse’s fear of sharks. (Here is an “article” about shark attacks, take it for what it’s worth.) The total number of shark “attacks” may surprise you.

Eventually, some how, Scott adds Jesse to his bucket list.

We end the conversation with Scott and continue with some banter of our own. Jesse enlightens me about the Cookie Cutter shark and Zombie Sharks, all while warming up to the idea of going scuba diving. Way to go Jesse!

Jesse gives us some of his Grandfather’s acronyms. I offer a suggestion to why old people have no filters. Kids are just as bad as old people, can’t rule them out either. And it wouldn’t be an episode of the Random Nothing Podcast without a failed attempt at a joke, at my expense.

Episode 21.

What is up with those stick figure family stickers? And the stickers that make fun of those stickers. And as it seems the norm, we discuss tv shows. First, I bash the The Quest, then I suggest that Raising Hope isn’t worth anyones time. Eventually I finish it off with Manhattan.

Shark Week begins on the 11th of August. Jesse suggest that dumb movies should never air, like Sharknado. I throw out one as well, Snakes on a Plane

Jesse and I start a bucket list. Do you have a bucket list? I started mine at Bucketlist.org Jesse on his Notes App. And for a couple of guys who like baseball, you think we would know the number of teams in the league…

Jesse bring this weeks if you could, which really isn’t an if you could, so it doesn’t count. But here is the question this week, if you had the choice to choose either being deaf or blind, which one would you choose? Jesse then wondering what the likelihood fo a blind individual dreaming in color is. I offer my answer. And of course I open my big mouth, Helen Keller is not Lizzie Borden. And what is it with all these nursery rhymes that involve death or horrendous events? Do I have a problem? You can’t have too many domains right? I make a mockery of my daughter’s name, She’ll thank me later. Jesse then finally comes to the realization that I am funny, at least in my own strange way.

Episode 20 starts right off with my tell of skydiving. I cant recommend it, but if it is your thing by all means go for it. Ok story telling time with Matt is over. Jesse suggest that he fell victim to the infamous Meriod.

I tend to think it’s him just being moody. Then I get lectured over my lucky pants. We educate you, the listeners, on lawn design. You’re welcome. Jesse brings up a reality TV show that he wants to get on, The Quest. But Im thinking that the Amazing Race is more our style. I bring up birthday months. What exactly is it and why do you need a month? Stick to a day yo!

There is a glitch in the matrix, we have a laugh about it. I then bring up a conversation that I have over the weekend, only to talk talk about it. Talk about self-control! I then go into a rant about national news outlets, sorry.

Meanwhile in Russia, giant sections of the earth are falling in on its self Then I take us down a path of fantasy baseball, where there are no winners. Jesse then ask me what care I would get is i could, of course I change my answer. Eventually we divert to truck talk and the prioce of the new F-150.
